Ibrahim Al Hajjar

is an accomplished energy engineer and photovoltaic project manager with a strong foundation in renewable energy systems, business engineering, and strategic project oversight. With over five years of hands-on experience in France’s solar energy sector—including leadership roles at EDF ENR, Orzy Groupe, and Calycé—he has developed, managed, and optimized large-scale photovoltaic and agrivoltaic projects, many reaching capacities of 20 MWp.

Holding an MSc in Business Engineering and Management from KEDGE Business School, and an Energy Engineering Degree from ISEN Yncréa (France), Ibrahim integrates technical expertise with financial and legal acumen. His competencies include risk assessment, feasibility analysis, smart grid design, and energy market strategy—skills that are central to the energy-geopolitics interface.

Ibrahim’s role has consistently bridged the gap between engineering precision and strategic vision, particularly through his coordination of environmental impact studies, stakeholder negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives. In 2024, he completed a professional certification in Project Finance for Infrastructure and Energy, adding further depth to his ability to navigate complex project landscapes in both public and private sectors.

Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, Ibrahim is a trilingual communicator and contributor to international knowledge networks on energy transition and sustainability. He also co-authored a technical paper on diesel generator heat recovery technologies, underlining his commitment to applied research.

As a strategic associate with Vidya Insight, Ibrahim brings a rare combination of energy systems expertise, sustainability strategy, and geopolitical awareness, positioning him to advise on regional energy security, infrastructure policy, and cross-border renewable investments.
