He holds two PhDs in Modern and Contemporary History—from the Lebanese University and Beirut Arab University—and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, combining historical depth with legal insight in regional affairs.

A practicing attorney and member of the Beirut Bar Association since 2000, Dr. El Ghoul is the co-founder of El Ghoul & Arja Law Firm, where he provides legal counsel to local and regional companies. He is also a certified international arbitrator, accredited by the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration and the Geneva International Arbitration Center.

Dr. El Ghoul lectures on Modern Arab and Lebanese History at Beirut Arab University, and has completed specialized training in geopolitical thought, natural resource utilization, and international criminal law, including collaborations with the Lebanese Army, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

His book "Beirut 1887–1918: Social, Health, and Financial Aspects" offers a foundational perspective on historical state-society dynamics in the Levant.
